time of nature, research (2021)

This research came about during an artist in residency at annatopia. The goal during this period was to slow down in our busy society. From that mindset your attention will automatically be drawn back to the small but ever-present, such as in this case the shadow of leaves on a surface.

The video was made during the first moment that I consciously tried to catch the shadow, before I made the work 'the time of nature'.
